THE BEGINNING

I am very Passionate about developing properties. As the son of Sri Y Ramachandra Naidu, one of Bangalore’s earliest property developers, I was exposed to this field from a very early age. Because of which I have a deep understanding of the market and together with my sense of design and a keen acumen to recognize opportunities, I believe, I have the courage to take untrodden paths.

THE JOURNEY

My own journey began in 2005, when I founded Saaya Builders, with an initial vision to build boutique villas, apartments and complexes. My focus was in creating high quality and modern spaces for relationships to thrive in. Having achieved that successfully, and seeing the endless opportunities for growth ahead of me, I went on to float Sunland Ventures Private limited. The growing demand for quality builders and my passion in creating modern dwelling and commercial spaces led to moving from a proprietorship to a private limited company. This helped me focus on strengthening strategic partnerships, increasing relevance and evolving the company’s business models.

THE FUTURE

With over 15 years of experience, I have developed close to half a million sq ft of space. Having acquired large land holdings, we aim to develop over 1.2 million sq ft across mid segment apartments, premium villa plots and luxury apartments. With over 7 projects in hand, my team is constantly improvising on designs and building quality by setting benchmarks for themselves. The near future will also see commercial developments and commercial leasing. With the vision to create modern spaces, the group is all set to be one of the finest developers of Karnataka, while building and fostering relationships beyond cement and steel.

Sri Y. Ramachandra Naidu, our founder, was one of Bangalore’s pioneering builders. With a career spanning over five decades, he constructed over sixty residential projects, commercial complexes and villa projects. As early as 1964, he accomplished his first multi-dwelling complex of 7500 sq. ft. Amongst his numerous notable projects is the first commercial development in Bangalore for Hero Honda. His other endeavors include Jayachandra Hardware which is over five decades old, and is still up and running, and the Shravanthi Convention Centre which is over three decades old. In 2011, Sri Naidu also constructed the Manjula Educational Trust building across seven acres, to accommodate two hundred students. Under Sri Naidu’s guidance and backed by his immense knowledge and experience in real estate and construction, Saaya Property Development was formed in 2005. Seven years later, the new company was re-branded as Sunland Ventures, a private limited company focused on building for relationships, by integrating best design-practices and business-practices with the tastes and requirements of the customers.
